Companions have new levels of points for their higher status

There are  10 places appointment

Grande companion (if awarded at a show ) is chosen at the end of the day out of the top three best in show companion cats

Companions can achieve various higher status levels the same as a pedigree

Effective as of September 2004

These are as follows: -

 1st place  - 20 points

 2nd place - 15 points

 3rd place -  10 points

 4th place -  9 points

 5th place -  8 points

 6th place -  7 points

 7th place -  6 points

 8th place -  5 points

 9th place -  4 points

10th place -  3 points
